I think the best time to go is from April to September. The weather is very, very nice and fun to walk in. With a waffle in hand, you will stroll the cobblestone streets of Bruges. The city gets 180 SUNNY days a year. June brings sunshine, but you’ve to see the lights and taste the waffles to feel the joy.
My cousin stayed there and said that the breakfast was the highlight of the morning. The waffles made the youngsters very happy. The kids would have loved it, but that was before chocolate.
I think 3 million tourists came to Bruges last year, and probably more. It nevertheless feels calm and secure despite the large number of visitors. Bruges is still perfect to explore with kids — and I was blown away!
